Sarah Patterson is a Fractional CFO who provides financial leadership, strategy, and analysis to companies ready to grow or pivot.
I partner with CEOs and their leadership teams to provide the financial leadership and analysis they need to make business decisions grounded in numbers. My clients are small to mid-sized businesses who need the oversight and analysis of a CFO on a fractional basis.
I free CEOs up to focus on growing and optimizing the business, providing peace of mind in knowing that the financial bases are covered.
I bring clarity to the financial picture. We come up with metrics that quantify the success of the business, and then we track them against your vision and goals.
As an attentive listener, I ensure business owners feel heard and supported as they navigate complex challenges. I prioritize working with individuals whose presence I find genuinely enjoyable, and while I have a passion for numbers, my true motivation lies in the joy of authentic connection.

More than 80% of startups fail to get from Seed to Series A
Let us improve your odds.
Less than 2 out of 10 seed-funded startups now clear the Series A bar. In today’s markets, customer traction is the only currency. Startup IQ improves your chances of achieving traction by finding the cracks in your Go-to-Market Plan — ICP, Problem-Solution Fit, Pricing, Sales Motion — and we’ll deliver pragmatic guidance to fill the cracks.
Today’s Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series-A Tech Founders must achieve higher benchmarks than ever before ($3 M ARR, airtight economics, AI-level efficiency) to have any hope for success. Choose our Founder’s GTM Office Hours for weekly live and interactive sessions with access to operators who've raised, built, and exited — so you can leap past the 80% who fail and either boot-strap or secure your next investment round on your own terms.

Christina Farinacci-Roberts is the proud daughter of a Korean immigrant Tiger Mom and an Italian American veteran dad, as well as a first generation college graduate who became one of the youngest NYCDOE high school principals and then founded Head Heart Hands Consulting (HHH) a decade later when she became the poster child for the "Sandwich Generation" after her mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis and right before her son's second birthday. Christina was inspired to pursue a career in education because she saw the ways in which her mother's lack of a formal education hindered her ability to maximize her innate brilliance and advance herself as far as she could have with a more privileged background. Christina sought to ensure her students' zip codes didn't determine their destinies in the ways that she felt like her mother's had, and once she broadened her work into consulting, she sought to expand her scope of impact to accelerate success for individuals and teams across industries and leadership levels.
As a learning architect, Christina creates holistic and human- centered programming that enlightens the Head, engages the Heart and empowers the Hands. The learning experiences she offers are interactive and immersive, driving substantive change and fueling sustainable growth. Christina also combines the W.I.D.E. Dynamic Dialogues framework with adult learning theory and the Enneagram to unleash and uplift the purpose, power and potential of all.
Prior to founding HHH, Christina was the principal and CEO of the first all girls independent charter high school in New York State where she advanced leadership and closed achievement gaps for girls of color. Christina has a proven track record for turning around institutions that were struggling to attain equitable outcomes for their students. In New York City, she worked as a principal and former teacher in some of the most underperforming and historically underserved districts. Both positions required her to engage in successful change management through completely transforming the organizations’ cultures to create a common vision, sense of urgency and strong community that propelled growth and advanced goals. As the sole Subject Matter Expert for the Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education (CRSE) module of NYSED's T.A.L.E. (Teaching Across Learning Environments) Academy, she developed a curriculum for a state-wide learning development platform with CEU training for NYSED’s 200k+ teachers.
As a child of an immigrant and as a first gen college graduate, Christina is passionate about economic empowerment for executives and emerging leaders. Christina has presented leadership & learning development for diverse talent in financial services. She leads professional development with higher ed institutions and academic medical centers. A keynote speaker at the 2023 National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Leadership Convention, she has also devised training for the Society for Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) and also advises Asian and female ERGs in career advancement.
As a cofounder of W.I.D.E. Dynamic Dialogues, Christina helps to integrate and operationalize Wellness, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity initiatives to organizational goals and strategic priorities for exponential impact. As a veteran educator, Christina advises industry experts and innovators on framework development, intellectual capital creation and method monetization. She combined both of these areas of expertise when she partnered with researchers from Stanford University to co-author an article in Health Affairs titled "A.C.C.E.S.S. AI: A New Framework For Advancing Health Equity In Health Care AI." partnered with Stanford researchers She also keynotes on more holistic and human-centered leadership.
Lastly, Christina guides leaders to marry their personal essence with their professional excellence to be great, do good and have more while equipping teams to achieve greater employee engagement, center workforce well-being and propel organizational success. She frequently provides keynotes to organizations who want to equip their people with actionable insights that yield greater communication, connection and collaboration for enhanced individual and collective flourishing. Moreover, she partners with other pioneering founders to leverage their intellectual capital over their human capital to create a more scalable, sustainable and satisfying business.
Christina holds an MS Ed in Education from Pace University and a BA in English from University at Albany, SUNY. She is also the matriarch of a blended family who strives to model to her two kids the unrelenting work ethic and audacious ambitions her parents instilled. When she is not actively pursuing her mission of global liberation, Christina maintains her sanity by traveling the globe, dancing to 90s hip hop and dance hall reggae, doing yoga, CrossFit, drinking boba tea and frequent karaoke sessions.

Imagine what’s possible…
I’m a coach, trainer, and facilitator based in New York City. I’ve always been interested in 3 things. The first is how people can grow, change, and heal. The second is how individuals can discover what is satisfying and meaningful for them and possibly how this might apply in their work or what they’re up to in the world. The third is how people can experience satisfying and meaningful relationships at work, with friends and intimate partners.
